Beatiful Portland!

Alright, I have just arrived at San Francisco, it was 17 hr bus ride....
At least, it is not a full bus, and its not as bad as the one before.

We are still on schedule, which is awesome!

Now, this was what happen in Portland

After the last blog was written, we all decided to go to the mall for some food!!!
so we got to the mall, and got some food (teriyaki chicken like the one in Appleton)
and we found out that "THERE IS NO TAX IN OREGON!" Absolutely TAX FREE!!!!
so then Yu, K, and Yasu decided to go to book store, and I and Deepak went to Dollar Tree
Did you know, they sell 1 liter 100% orange juice for $1!!!  LOVE THAT PLACE
and on top of that that its TAX FREE!!

anyways, after that we met up with each other and decided to go to Washington Park
While trying to get out of the mall, Yu saw Game Stop
Since it is Tax Free, Yu said he wanted to stop by for a minute, so everyone went in and I just sit outside watching their bags...

the next thing I know?
Yu came out with a game, K came out with a game too
and Deepak came out with a PSP....
Yasushi came out with a DS....

WHAT?? exactly....

good thing i was outside...

anyways.. so then we got out and we took the bus down to Washington Park

Then when we reach Washington Park, we realized that only the attractions there are Rose garden, Zoo, Japanese garden, and a museum. The Zoo cost like $10 and I mean... it s a zoo... so we just took couple of pictures and did not actually go in.

The Japanese garden and Rose garden are about 2 miles off where we are so we had some discussion whether or not to go since we are after all with a HUGH backpack on our backs. So I and Yasushi decided to go and the other three stay and enjoy the whether.

we got on some bus and off we go.
the bus driver told us, that he can drop us off somewhere that is close to the garden, and its about .25 mile from it.
"cool" we said...
well, it is .25 miles..... UP HILL

Alright, so at last we got to the rose garden... where are the roses??

We came across a nice fellow who let us know that all the roses were cut about 2 weeks ago.... WHAT?!
yep...
well, so we think we might pay a visit to Japanese garden if it s really cool (it cost about 8 bucks)
There was a discount 1.25 bucks for that garden so we took it... (u know discount always work)
and we went in and it was like we are in Japan said Yasushi!

From there we can see the Mount Hood

And then that makes the end of Portland..
We head back to the bus station and got on the bus
Alright, I guess this is it, We are probably going to explore San Francisco soon!
Byte Out!
