Mt. Rushmore!

24 hours bus ride is OVER!!!
So We are now checked in to Six Avenue Inn

Now lets talk about what have happened in the last 2 days

So in the night of 27th, we went around the down town, which is about .5 mile x .5 mile ... lol
then there was nothing so we just stay in our hotel the res of the night.

We got up in the morning, rented a car and off we go to Mt. Rushmore!
Nearly got lost but, we found a way anyways.

This is the car that we rented and Yu is filling it up... the whole thing was 7.68 (gas) + 10 (rushmore fee) + xx (car rental) ---- (xx donno)

after 5 hours in 24 hours bus ride! waiting waiting and waiting

There were a lot of snow on the way (none in seattle =))

Rapid city!

Well... we just got here a moment ago,
we were on this 12 hours bus trip.. eww..

look carefully at yasushi =) nervous break down...

But at the end of the trip, the hotel was nice!

Tonight Yasushi will sleep on the floor  hehe....
But overall, everything went quite well, so, happy black friday! (i didnt even look at any store...)

Breakfast that never came!

So at Marriott Hotel, I was participating in some promotion which I didnt know, it turned out that I got 2 free breakfast!
that is they gave me $80 dollar worth of anything on the menu

The only concern was that the bus leaves 7 am and the food can only come by 6.15 earliest.
Well... I think that was alright, i ll leave right after and ask for it to go...
so.. in the morning we were ready and it was 6 am..
we waited.. waited.. and waited........... 6.10 , 6.11, 6.14 .... 6.15...
Nothing! NOTHING!!!! OMG !!!
we had to go.. so we checked out...
that was pretty sad =(

1 day in Minneapolis

Now we are making plans for rapid city in the lounge at Marriott
We have just completed a bunch of walking (approx 4 hrs in -2 C ....)

Here are where we went:

1st - Minneapolis Community and Technical College

2nd - Walker Art Center

After that we went to find something to eat

3rd - Eat Street

Not-So-Funny story... I was told by this thai concierge(r?) that this eat street is a good place to eat... and the map he gave me was kinda small, so.. I was like ok! lets head there.... I turned out, it was a hell of a walk to the place... I mean about 45 mins from Walker Art Center... and Holy **** its like Vietnam town...  All the restaurants are Vietnamese and... as you can see, my friend are very happy..... The food wasnt that good too =(   (about 11 bucks i paid)

Then we went back to hotel around 2 pm

We thought we were gonna rest for an hour then catch a bus to the Mall of America...

As you can guess, we were tired... i mean TIRED

so we all went to sleep right away and woke up about 5.30 pm

and it was dark outside so we abandon our thought of going to the mall ...

we instead were hungry so we went to Apple Bee!

 (This was GOOOOD ... MUCH BETTER THAN THE VIET FOOD)

(i ordered chicken sliders and a long island tea and some buff wings  about $ 14.25)

Then we head to the bridge ... dont ask what bridge cause I donno...

After that we are back here, and making a plan ...

So in Rapid city we will be staying at the Raddison Hotel

In Minneapolis

Now I am at the Marriott hotel and everyone else is sleeping,
There was a little trouble here and there yesterday, but i think we managed to get through it pretty well.

the trouble, the bus was full... the bus driver didnt believe so since the tickets added up to the full capacity.
What happened there, I guessed was there were many kids (1 year old or less) who did not have tickets and they were just taking up seats cause their parents arnt happy to share....
So we waited for the next bus which was about 30 mins later. It was alright, but pretty full too. So we got separated. I was sitting next to some guy who has ADD or something, he kept moving.... other people didnt have much luck either, Keiske has a kid sitting on his lap, Yasushi sat next to a guy who like he just got off a prison lol. But all went pretty well after.

we got off the bus and decided to go for a walk in search for this hotel. Without real map of course =)
we ask people around and at last we found it. around 6 am...
and since then everyone has been sleeping.. except me =(

Well.. there were 2 beds which can hold 2 each, and there were 5 of us... I was unlucky to draw the lowest card... so u know what happens... but that means i wont have to draw any card after this untill everyone has got their share =)
